Describe the challenges of managing a diverse MIS user community (i.e. wide age range, multiple nationalities, different religious orientations, etc.) in today's organizations

The implementation of MIS system in the organization is not easy. There are some issues and challenges which many organizations have faced and these factors impact organizational processes and products associated with each implementation stage. In the organization there are number of the employee and customer which may have access to MIS of the organization and organization must manage the information such that all the concern people will get benefit from the management information system. Some of the challenges of managing a diverse MIS user community in today’s organization are:
Management challenges: when the organization have an employee coming from different ethnic group then it possess big management challenges because depending upon the religions and nationalities they have their own value and belief on everything and to manage their sentimental is big challenges. Also depending upon the size and the employee of the organization budgeting also play an important role. These management challenges also include the general management that describe the continuous flow of the data in the organization. The organization have to manage everyone in such way that it create friendly environment in the organization and need to make sure everyone will get the right information at right time. The communication between the users must be clear. When there is diverse user there is high chance of the miscommunication and it’s generate confusion, lack of teamwork, and low morale. So the communication challenge must be address in timely.
Organization environment challenges:  organizational environment challenges are less tangible and that is describe by the organization culture, value and belief, change and behavior. Depending upon the culture of the organization the MIS system must perform. But the culture of the organization will form after a long time. Then setting the MIS system for any organization is very difficult because of its culture. Also in the organization there are number of the employee with different religious background. They have their own value and belief so the MIS system must provide information needed to them. For example if there is Hindu and Muslim are working on same organization then Hindu employee want a holiday in the Dashain in this case MIS system must generate necessary information to only Hindu employee. Such that the organization have challenges to manage their own objective along with the culture of the organization by aligning the culture of the employee.
Technical challenges: the MIS system should be compatible with the current hardware and the software. When there is diverse MIS user community, MIS system must support the various function which able to provide a relevant information to all user. For example the MIS system must be able to provide the information in the different language as the user requested. The technology of the organization must support the MIS system which has an ability to serve different people which may different from language to language, different on religion and also different from the country.
Personal challenges: managing individual in the organization is very much difficult. Each employee has their own capability to perform the work, also depending upon the age and responsibility, post of the employee they may seek relevant data for them. So the MIS system must filter the information to make some privacy in the information. For example the executive of the organization have an authority to view all the information but all the employee may not have access to those data. The MIS system must provide relevant information to only concern user. The ability of the employee also big challenges. The different employee in the organization may interpret the same information in different way and their capability is different from each other.
Another challenge may be time management. Depending upon the location and country the working time schedule of employee may be different. The MIS system must provide an information in real time. Especially when there is diverse MIS user community with different nationalities their schedule of working are different for example the employee working on Nepal have holiday on Saturday but the employee in western have holiday on Saturday and Sunday. So to manage the time is big challenge and also depend upon the country there is different law. The MIS system must be suitable and approval according to the national law. So the MIS system may need to modify according to law of nation
